A post the likes of which I've never made before!

UMM.

As you know, Reader, I have been talking about a FF7/Inception crossover fic for months.

I've written about 9,000 words. I signed up for megaflare_ff.
But lately I keep....not writing.
And then I thought I'd rewrite the text I have now to feel more confident about it, but mostly what I think is:

"OMG nobody will ever read this!"
"OMG everyone will read this but it's terrible and everyone will judge me!"
"OMG I am a terrible writer!"
"OMG I WILL NEVER SHOW ANYONE ANYTHING."

After letting it sit for about a month at one point, I read the draft from a "fresh" perspective and thought it wasn't TERRIBLE.

BUT.

I need to know it's worth doing! Worth working on, whatever.

SO.

My question is: Are any of you interested in reading the first 900 words or so and letting me know if I should keep going, or if, "Meh, it didn't do much for me, you should just let it go," or something?! Maybe I should keep to short fic?! I don't know?!

sasha_feather votes that what I need is a "cheerleader," and she and wintercreek agree that this is "done" in fandom, like it's a thing and not something I just made up (I somehow miss posts like these when everyone else makes them, I guess, :O ).

If you want to read my first scene, please let me know! If you dislike the words, I will not hate you!
