Bless my misguided adolescent taste

omg you guys, Netflix now has Dawson's Creek available streaming and OMG. I finally caught up with Grey's Anatomy just in time to start re-watching this.

I fucking loved this show when it aired on the WB. I used to watch episodes over the phone with one of my best friends. I could have been watching Buffy when it aired, but I was a Dawson's Creek girl (and later, Felicity).

So obviously I am re-watching season one. IT'S SO AWFUL. OMG.
I mean, I don't feel that bad for liking it the first time around, I was literally 12 or 13 when this show first aired. But GOD. I hope the future seasons are better.


Dawson Leery is such an asshole, omg. I don't think I liked him that much to begin with.

When I first watched this show, I way over-identified with Joey Potter, and she is such a jerk! I think I hated Jen Lindley when I first watched the show, and watching now, she is totally awesome!

My love for Pacey is still justified, though. JOSHUA JACKSON, MY LIFELONG CRUSH EVER SINCE MIGHT DUCKS.


Watching this show brings back lots of awkward memories of me being kind of an asshole due to unrequited love. I'm glad that I am less of a jerk now.
