Blogger is being a whore (again). So, here is an obscenely long entry regarding my life since Friday, which will be copied and pasted into my blog once it starts working. Let's see. Friday morning I was studying government in the library with Kristy, Chad, and Sean. Stressing out about everything. And then Jake came in and gave me this really, really pretty peach-pink rose. 'Cause Thursday night I was freaking out to him about the stupid government test, and he wanted to make me feel better and he's the sweetest guy ever. Took the government test, and it wasn't as bad as I thought it would be, but I still don't think I did too well. The rest of school was pretty uneventful, I think. After school, I went to Jake's house. We picked up his tux, and then I ate dinner with his family on his back porch because it was really nice outside. Then we picked up my jewelry from Julie - she beaded it for me, and it turned out to match my dress perfectly. It was really pretty, too! Jake's mom had rented the Chamber of Secrets (since it just came out on Friday), so we watched that, along with a DragonBallZ movie of his. We also played Kingdom Hearts. I got to see 'Leon', Yuffie, and Aeris. I really wanted to see Cloud, but I couldn't. I want to hear them talk, especially. Cool game. So, by the time I came home from Jake's it was like, 10:30. Took a bath and went to bed. Woke up promptly at 6:30 on Saturday. Got ready and went with Lindsey to take the ACTs. I think the English parts of it went really, really well. And the science portion went alright. But the math portion was horrible. Yeah. We went directly from the ACTs to the hair salon and got our hair done. Picked up some Subway, too. I ate while Lindsey got her hair done, and she did likewise. I ended up having about six thin twists of hair in the front, at different angles, pinned back. The rest of my hair was just down - a mass of defined curls. Yeah. Went home and got ready. Went to Felicia's and took a couple pictures, came home to see my mom and aunt and uncle and Julie and Kevin and Dylan and Olivia, and Jake came with his mom and we got some pictures taken. He arrived with not only my corsage (which was really pretty), but half a dozen white roses, plus another pink one like the one he gave me Friday morning. ^^ Jake looked hot in his zoot suit and hat and cane. His vest matched my dress pretty much exactly. Once we were done taking pictures, we went to Josh's house to get pictures with everyone. And there was a ton of people there. After that, we left for the Prom. And Prom was a lot of fun. Everybody looked so cute all dressed up, and I had fun times wearing Jake's hat. We basically ate, danced, and then had the grand march. Then a bunch of people left, we stayed and boogied, and then left as well. Got lost getting on the highway, but figured it out. Jake and I got changed for post-prom, and went to the 'Game World' place it was held at. It's basically an arcade place. But it was cool, though. There were two stories to it, and there was a gambling room and go-karts and schtuff. I won a ten dollar gift certificate to the mall (to be spent on anime, I believe. I just need to decide between Cowboy Bebop and Evangelion - I'm torn!) Stayed at post prom until about 4:30. After that, we went to Johnny's. Brian and Sean and Josh and Eric and Abby and Nikki were there. Jake and I fell asleep for about an hour. Then Johnny kicked us out. We were going to stop at Shannon's for breakfast, but we didn't recognize any of the cars at her house, so we just went and got bagels instead. And, that was it. A lot of people make such a huge deal about Prom, and I don't really see why. Don't get me wrong - I had a lot of fun, and I'm glad I went, but I just don't see why people get all worked up over it. Oh, well. But I do know that I'm really glad I have Jake. Our cheesy Prom-theme was 'dream come true', and that's exactly what it was. It's so....liberating to have feelings for a guy and not constantly feeling my heart get mauled. Yeah. So, now I'm home, and I'm really not tired at all. So I think I'm going to quickly do my government homework while that feeling lasts, before I collapse on my bed. And I really need to clean my room...it's horrible. Yeah. So, that was Prom. The end!
