He was Kurt Hummel's/the glee club's nemesis for a while, by being the lead singer of a rival glee club at Dalton Academy (aka: gay Hogwarts).
I knew about it, but heresluck was so definite about him being unlikeable on Glee I didn't look it up! I was unsurprised when he sang very well in a karaoke scene in a recent episode, though.
I mean...at this point literally every character is unlikeable on Glee BUT YES, his character existed to bring up problems for the others. He's pretty good at being a catty asshole, though, which I gather is v. different than his Flash character! I want good things for him, so I'm glad he's got his own show.

Bad - his glee club & the show's glee club face off in a dark parking lot [this ends w/a slushie to Blaine's face & results in him having to wear an eye patch in the following episode - lmao this fucking show]
I Want You Back - he & the other Dalton boys try to entice Blaine to come back to their school/glee club with pelvic thrusts, & the other kids have to pretend they don't like it.
