I never understood the dislike for Marti Noxon because I still liked the latter seasons of Buffy.

But then I found out she wrote tonight's episode of Glee, and just....WHAT THE FUCK.

Tonight's ep was just so bad on so many levels.

I keep trying to decide whether it's more or less offensive than "I Kissed a Girl." I think that one probably taught a worse lesson (it's okay to out people!).

But what she did to Coach was the absolute worst of it.

Yes, that they did it at all. But also that "domestic violence" is a lesson that only the girls of the show need to learn so they know HOW TO LEAVE because only victims need to be taught that stuff, while the guys are off being dude-bros for each other.

But, I liked latter seasons of Buffy too! They had their vast share of problems, S6 especially, but I also never felt as emotionally close to the show (and Buffy herself) as I did during S6.
