2015 Anime

lbr, if I wait to "write up" each of these shows, I'll never make this post, so here we go: Here are the shows I really enjoyed in 2015.
If you have questions about any of them, feel free to ask in the comments.

This year I really got better at deciding within 1-2 episodes if a new show was worth watching. Looking at the list below, "almost-exclusive focus on female characters in a non-creepy way" seems to be my only criterion!

Yuri Kuma Arashi (Yuri Bear Storm)
Hibike! Euphonium (Sound! Euphonium)
Shirobako
Wakakozake
Charlotte
Cardcaptor Sakura (I have like 4 episodes to go but whatever)
Encouragement of Climb s2
Akatsuki no Yona (Yona of the Dawn) (2nd half aired in 2015)

MOVIES
Wolf Children
Princess Kaguya

I still feel mildly victimized by the tail end of Charlotte, but in a "I l9ve this show" way.

Did you ever try Akagami no Shirayuki-hime/Snow White With Red Hair? It seems like it'd be right up your alley.

I got a Hulu account so I could stream on my TV. That's weird that crunchyroll doesn't have it.

Paid, lowest possible tier. Though I feel they somehow know exactly what commercials I'll hate and only show them hoping I'll upgrade.

I loved Wolf Children so much. We saw that at a film festival a few years ago, I think, and I've been wanting to get it on DVD ever since. Just stunning.
