I've mentioned it on Twitter, but I don't know if I've mentioned here that I've been watching Grey's Anatomy again, after....not watching for like 3 years. I need to go find some old Meredith and/or Cristina icons.

This is part of my ongoing quest to watch TV shows that are at least semi-light. I tried to start watching Walking Dead, for instance, and just could not. IDK if it's the violence or the bleakness, but I'm just not in a place where I can handle it. I've been waiting for over a year to feel like I'm capable of re-watching Revolutionary Girl Utena; still not there.
My tastes are evolving in general, I think. The me of 4 years ago would probably be disturbed by how much I like K-On!

But what I wanted to say is how it can be a little hard to get through episodes sometimes because of how much I dislike the arrogance of the doctors. "Where the Wild Things Are," for instance, in which Meredith, Cristina, Izzie, and Alex have a competition to see how many "points" they can get for procedures/etc., and Izzie puts a patient through lots of unnecessary procedures, including a spinal tap.
How many ways is that illegal?!

But in the end, the Chief is just like, "Izzie, what the hell. Don't do that again." And that's all that happens.

UGH, and fucking Rebecca showing up and following Alex all around the hospital, wanting him to pay attention to her WHILE HE'S IN PATIENTS' ROOMS or WHILE HE IS DOING SURGERY is fucking ridiculous. LOL!HIPAA.

But.

Meredith and Cristina are still the two biggest BAMFs who ever BAMFed, and season 7 is rumored to have an Alzheimer's disease clinical trial so I basically have to keep watching.

Also a random drop-off note to say that I started watching Smash with the assumption that it would be way better than Glee. It is astonishing how very, very wrong I was.

HIPAA! Ha! not a single medical show in US has ever heard of it.

Maybe you should script a manga around your workplace?
