Hey, so over in ff7_fanfiction we're talking about what are considered the "major works" of FF7 fandom, mostly because I wanted to know if there were any similar "everyone's read this" fic to, say, the ones in Stargate: Atlantis fandom.

FF7 is a much more disparate fandom than SGA, but we're still having fun talking about old/new fic, and I am devouring ALL THE FIC whole.

This is such a cool discussion. Every time I see it I want to do one for FFVIII. Curse you, lack of time!

I know you said you were poking at the Fanlore entry. I hope some of these stories get linked over there as influential works, that would be awesome. :D

Yeah! So far I added some stuff to the main FF7 page (about the fandom in general), and I made a page for Frank Vederosa. I intend to make pages for other fics/authors.

It doesn't matter how "important" a work/person was to make a page about them, right??
I should probably just link to the discussion itself from the FF7 page.

Nope, I don't think "importance" matters because it's so subjective? I mean, I have a page on there for some reason, but I don't really find myself that important. XD
