And now for my next trick....

From now on, whenever someone suggests that my chest pain/nausea/GERD/etc. is because I'm pregnant, I will describe my latest menstrual period in explicit detail.

Color, clarity, consistency ... there's a world of possibilities there.

Have I mentioned that I decided awhile ago that the next time someone asks about the status or plans for my genitals that I'm going to start explicitly describing what a year's worth of estradiol does to a penis?

In other words, I wholly support your plan. Sometimes kyriarchy needs a good dose of TMI.

Oh, then I probably never shared the story where last spring I saw someone who I hadn't seen in a few months and, while she clearly was attempting to ask "are you transitioning", she actually said "Oh, so you're planning to have some surgery soon?".

She defended her right to ask such a question with the fact that she's a cis lesbian...no, that shouldn't make sense.

I chalk this up to transmisogyny - that delightful intersectional cocktail - so I think it does have some of the same origins as people making stupid comments to you: "woman" equals "no personal boundaries".
