I cared about what happened to every character! I was not bored at any point in the episode! I kinda sorta LIKED almost every character! It was my favorite episode so far!

Then I see: Jane Espenson wrote the episode!

Yeah, I think she's executive producer of Caprica or something. I had been incredibly disinterested in it, but I'll probably at least try it.

Exactly! Go her indeed! Although I kind of pity her for jumping on failed projects - this, and the last season of BSG = blah. Hopefully Caprica goes better for her.

Yeah, it was my favorite so far too! I feel like the show is kind of watchable whenever it isn't trying to be a sexploitation anthology show, but this was maybe the first episode that I was genuinely glad to have watched.
