I AM SO TOTALLY SURE I DID.

though not in so many words, and probably not directly to you. wait wait no! in the slash 201 panel at wiscon, when [livejournal.com profile] deepforestowl asked me about the [livejournal.com profile] amplificathon i *did* call out anime specifically, since it's something i'm trying to encourage more of. and if you weren't at that panel, i'm pretty sure i did my part. :p

now. *waves hand* make more, okay?

*cough* I actually just figured it out by clicking the link in the post you just made.

I wasn't at that panel....was that the one at night when everyone was aware of a time schedule change except for me and Patrick Rothfuss? ;_;

By "make more," do you mean read some?

I don't know where the kids keep the good anime fanfic! Maybe I'll poke around. I would probably need a microphone and stuff, huh?

oh damn, yes. that was the schedule-problem panel. sigh.

and yes! read some! it's fun. i mean, editing is sort of a pain in the ass, but the reading and posting bits are awesome. does your computer have a built-in mic? most of my stuff was recorded with a built-in. in fact, i didn't get a mic until 2 months ago.

there are a bunch of tutorials and things on the audiofic site, under 'creating and submitting a recording' or something.

i also do not know where the good anime fic is. hmmm. they cover anime on [livejournal.com profile] crack_van, a little - that might be the place to start.

There are podcasts, too!

BUT ARE THEY ANIME PODCASTS?

[identity profile] antarcticlust.livejournal.com 2008-12-06 11:13 pm (UTC)(link)
Like AnimePulse (http://www.anime-pulse.com/), Warp (http://www.weeklyanimereview.com/), Japanator (http://www.japanator.com/?t=podtoid-san), AnimeWorldOrder (http://animeworldorder.blogspot.com/), or TheOtaku (http://theotaku.libsyn.com/rss)?

podfic is fanfiction that's read out loud and saved in mp3 format, so you can listen to it on your ipod.

i'm sorry, they told me not to say anything!
