I can totally emphasize with you there -- I'm not even that excited overall, but I've been tempted to many times to just go and 'have a little peek', and it doesn't help that the spoil_me-dh community is a LiveJournal Spotlight on the front page and just sitting there asking to be clicked! That, and all the people who are posting entries where there's an LJ-cut clearly marked with book spoilers :/
Then again though, I figure that there are only a few more days left before the real thing comes out, and it would be SO MUCH MORE REWARDING to do the extra waiting and have the genuine thing as the first real experience. Honestly, the next few days aren't going to matter in the long run, but I'd like to remember my first reading as being a real book, and not an online bootleg I looked at on a whim.

Interesting meme. I think I agree on most points, except on the meaning of "Deathly Hallows". I believe it refers to the horcruxes. This because the alternate, easier to translate, title that JKR released to other countries is "The Death Relics". To me horcruxes are definitivly relics of death. But now that I think about it, relics might refer to spirits too. But (again) are inferi really spirits and not just dead bodies?
