ZOMG Sayers is so wonderful! There's tons of her, and she's got plenty of Unpopular Opinions (which she mostly puts in her characters' mouths) but murder mysteries and Downton^2 aristocracy and PTSD (shell shock) and the glory that is Harriet Vane (first adult role model I read). Also word games and trilingual puns and Oxford and London and generally delightful.
