Fannish Get Shit Done Session
If anyone wants to join in, tomorrow I'm doing a Fannish Get Shit Done session tomorrow starting at 1pm central time, US. A few people are coming to my place, but feel free to join in electronically.
Things that "count" can be pretty much anything, including:
--writing fic
--working on fanart
--leaving comments on other people's fanworks
--creating rec lists
--organizing your fic bookmarks
--organizing a tumblr queue
--creating playlists for writing
--making a fanmix
--updating your fannish organization's website
--doing work for a fannish group of some kind
--updating your roleplay character's threads
--ETC.
littlebutfierce has declared the Muncie Girls' Revolution Summer EP to be the soundtrack to this Fannish Get Shit Done session. You can listen to it here.
I'll likely be tweeting updates/encouragement.
Feel free to leave comments here, too.

Organizing my to-do list, ;p
--make a fresher playlist for writing, including songs you plan to include in the fic, also things like "Radioactive," etc. Sometimes current fic playlist gets stale, & I basically NEED music to accomplish writing, so this would be a nice creative step for juices to continue flowing, even when listening at work/etc.Started! That apocalyptic fanmix I downloaded a couple weeks ago was a great starting place. Must add more.--transfer fic scraps written on graphpaper the past few weeks into Scrivener(1,009 words!)--c/p into 750words.com for total word count # on these fic scraps
--UMM WRITE THINGS?! figure out wtf should stay in chapter 4 & what sucks too much to keep lol410 new words from retouching chapter 4. I have made it through all but the last scene of chapter 4 (which is the scene that needs the most work, I think). Once I've done that, I'll consider my first draft of chapter 4 complete! (I usually get through more than one draft of a chapter before sending it off to betas.)--if stuck on plot in ch. 4, review CIA articles saved in Evernote [[This ended up not being necessary - I think chapter 4 has enough plot on its own for the moment. It helps that I've been obsessively reading Snowden/NSA articles. The fic is set before his leaks, so all that stuff is still secret ^_^]]
--(last) copy everything I worked on today from Scrivener into Evernote for back-up/referenceno subject
