Ditto. I wonder if having a panel specifically on one trans-specific manga would have a better chance of making it through to actual programming? Like laceblade, I suspect most potential panelists (and Wiscon has a pretty limited pool of potential anime/manga panelists) don't feel qualified enough, and at least having one work to concentrate on would make it easier to prep for.
But yeah, maybe spontaneous programming next year with a brainstormed-on-DW reading list if it doesn't make official programming? Or a more presentation-styled panel.
