The Election and Your Health, ;)

So after this huge fiasco in my blog, I've decided that political opinions will be expressed here, in my LJ. You, my LJ friends, are mature, you respect my opinions and my emotions, and I'm pretty sure the vast majority of you are liberal. This journal needs more use, and since I rarely have time to write (stupid college!), you lucky ones will get it, ;)

But anyway, this post isn't really expressing an opinion but just linking to a story from ABCnews.com that I found amusing: Has the Election Made You an Emotional Wreck? I'm sure many of us could use it, ;)

But the REAL question is...Hilary Clinton or Barack Obama in '08?

Personaly Id rather Barack Obama. However Hilary could do some good for us Liberals.

That article is very funny. Comparing politics to the loss of a loved one. I think it strikes more of a harder and thicker wall for those pure Liberals. I for one, at the age of 17 am now worried about The Draft, issues involving social security, and possible involvement in MORE countries within the next four years.

The Draft issue was originaly brought up by two Republican Sen. However Now that Bush doesnt have to walk on egg shells to survive a re-election, He is EVEN MORE DANGEROUS! I dont Dislike all of Bush's Ideals. However the way in which he handled 9/11 and how he is containing this so called "coalition of the willing" has got me scared and mad. I'd very much like to receive a college education without the fear that I could be drafted into any war front, at any time.

Just me babling. Hows College going? Facing mid-terms right now? Good luck if you are!

Whore: If Hillary was ever president, I purchase a car and move to Canada. I wouldn't care about Senator Barrack. I think he could do some good things.

Rapidfate: The draft..................yeah. I'm certain that it's going to happen. Even though, my dislike for the president would increase exponentially, I don't think I would care that much because I know I would be supporting the other men and women already out there. They can put me on a manual labor position because I'm not killing anyone.........or medic, whatever >)

Thats the confusion. When I say im anti-draft and the way this war is being handled =cough= vietnam =cough= people tend to think im not supporting those women and men out there fighting for our freedom. I love this nation and I love the democratic way. Id fight willingly if I was drafted. However I think Bush is taking away constitutional rights away from the people based upon his personal Ideals, not that the people want.

meh oh well =\

College is going alright. Thanks for the luck...I'm done with the first bout of midterms, but two of my classes have two midterms each, will I'll have before Thanksgiving. So far I'm doing well in all my classes - nothing below an AB! So go me, ;) My roommate and I also get along famously. She's so cool, hehe.

Sorry

I would like to apoligise for being unclear. I never got any gist that you wouldn't support the troops. I was just agreeing with you and of course ranted about the subject making my comment slide off the deep end.

I never intended you to think that I was thinking that you didn't support the troops. I didn't get that at all from your comment.

I apoligise for the confussion.

Oh and, yeah, the Vietnam thing...............yeah, we're never leaving.
Take care.
