More Story

This is part of a scene in my story. It's not much, but whatever. If you click here, then you can read the story. Be warned that my site is in frames, so by click here, you just get the frame with the story in it...but oh well. One day I'll learn how to make a website that's not half-assed....Anyway, this piece is going at the end. I really need to do more thinking about that....more writing. Meh.

She stared at Lanif for what seemed like an eternity, and then did the same to Timria. Her somber expression became even more serious, to the point that it conveyed sadness.
"Hello," she said, breaking the silence. Timria felt a sharp, searing pain in her head, and her dream came back in even sharper detail than when she had first had it. The darkness and the blood seemed to engulf everything, and she was drowning in it. She blinked, and she was looking at Lanif and the woman again. The woman....her voice....it was exactly the same as the voice at the end of her dream that told her to follow light.
"Oh..." she uttered softly, falling back a step, as if reeling. Lanif turned to her.
"Are you okay?"
"I'm fine," Timria said with a glance to the woman. She wasn't looking at Timria with concern, but with clarity. As if she knew exactly what Timria had seen.
