This post contains a lot of caps lock.

Not going to lie, my TV shows airing on Friday night does not work out well for me at all. I do things on Friday nights! And as such, I'm behind in all my shows except Dollhouse (which I believe is due for its OMG!TURN next week? We shall see, Joss Whedon! WE SHALL SEE.).

I'd prefer to be caught up in Battlestar Galactica because I think it ends this coming Friday. BUT, Terminator: The Sarah Connor Chronicles needs my viewing more than BSG, which already has an expiration date. [I watch on FOX.com and Hulu.com]

I haven't watched since December, so today has been an epic catching-up post. And.....OMG I LOVE THIS SHOW. SO MUCH LOVE.

I have spoilers, mostly related to "Some Must Watch, While Some Must Sleep," and mostly link to thinks said by people who write better things about TV than my simple OMG DID THAT JUST HAPPEN?! posts.

OMGWTF WHAT FROM THAT EPISODE WAS EVEN REAL?!

DID SHE BITE A CHUNK OUT OF HER EFFING HAND?! I LOVE THIS SHOW. SO MUCH. OMG OMG OMG.

Okay, and also? What I love about this show more than, say, BSG? Is that it doesn't let things go. It is highly self-aware, and everything everyone says eventually comes back and has a huge impact. Which is much appreciated, considering time-travel is one of the central aspects of the show! So that bit about Riley's freaking out on her foster-mom about bleached skulls coming back to have a lot of meaning? Is very much respected by me. GOLD STARS, TERMINATOR.

WTF JESSE IS THE COUNSELOR I HATE HER.

ANYWAY, COMMENTS OF OTHERS.

Oh man. If you had told me at the beginning of the season that I would be sad by Riley's death, I wouldn't have believed you. But she ended up so broken and so lost, so desperate for any hint of love that she trusted Jesse. I love the constant brushing of hair and the "Sweetie," the way Jesse's outward signs of love are so shallow and crack so easily to reveal the soldier. I feel I should be more up in arms about her betraying Riley, but I feel the female-female dynamic makes it very different, especially because Jesse is clearly the one with all the power in their relationship. And yet! Riley fights back, not quite believing that Jesse would throw her to the wolves, and she's so desperate in the end that she grabs on to anything—Jesse's neck, a vase, anything.

I'm a big fan of all of [livejournal.com profile] coffeeandink's post about 2.16, here.

Yayyyy! Now to work on my Battlestar Galactica progress....[at the moment, I have seen through 4.11, but I'm spoiled for major plot points, so far as I know.]

Let me know if you catch up on BSG! Right now it's just [livejournal.com profile] sasha_feather, [livejournal.com profile] hello_momma, and John Schmidt on Friday night.

I most certainly will! I'm thinking I won't have enough time by Friday, though. While I can use the Internet at work, I definitely can't download BSG eps, :O Also, since Friday is my last day as a page, I'm imagining there will be at least minor alcoholic celebrations after work.

If nothing else, once BSG is done, I can watch Terminator with you guys again?

Absolutely not.

Just kidding.
