Not that I really need a new fandom or anything (I've been working on my annual TV in Review post for 2008 and am slightly staggered by exactly how much TV I managed to watch this year, and by the fact that my number of fandoms has just about quadrupled within that same amount of time), buuut... I have sort of kept this show on my radar because it has several actors I know and love, it's scifi therefore I feel obligated to support it, and it just looks well-produced in general. And now my curiosity has been extra-piqued, I feel like I have to start watching it! Hmmm... I'm not sure when/if I'll get the chance to catch up, but I think I'll probably add it to my to-do list. How much (if any) familiarity with the films is required?
