OH MY GOD, I THINK YOU'RE RIGHT!
Maybe.
I tried reading passages out loud to my boyfriend last night, who could only listen in horror. MAYBE THERE ARE RAYS OF DOOM THAT EMIT FROM THE INK. THUS, IF SOMEONE READS TO YOU, YOU ARE IMMUNE, BUT IF YOU READ IT YOURSELF, YOU ARE DOOMED!
