Vote now!
In light of the "let's laugh at people who are different from us" Internet campaign, there is something easy that LiveJournal users can do to fight back.
LiveJournal is having an election for its advisory board. In this election, LJ users can use their accounts to vote for someone to be on the board. There is an organized post here explaining why you should not vote for
jameth. It also tells you where to go to vote.
There is a post about the Post-Wiscon Drama on a website called Encyclopedia Dramatica, making fun of the kerfluffle that has occurred. At the top of the page, the site encourages you, the reader, to vote for
jameth in the Internet, in order to "keep the lulz."
Thus, vote against
jameth.
Voting ends tonight at 9pm Pacific.
Thanks to the Wiscon community entry for the insights.
