A Game of Thrones, page 29

So eventually, will I be able to go more than 5 pages without women's breasts being described as teats, or without women's breasts being fondled by men who use them as instruments for their own power?

Whoa, what? I thought everybody touted this series as so great and complex and fair, etc?

Memory says…possibly not. There's a reason I hated that book and never read more than that one.

I think boobs are great things, but teat is still one of my least favorite words ever. *gags*

There's something about actually having boobs that makes teat/tit just awful. I was more neutral on the subject before June.

And that's exactly one of the reasons why I didn't finish the series. I read all of the first book, just to say I did, but the whole time my expression looked something like O_o

There's still plenty of rape, domestic abuse, skeevy older men with very young girls, and then even more rape! Y'know because it's ~realistic~ fantasy.
